Not sure why when I logged into Oppo in the middle of the night I am confronted with The Tear Garden. But a much better question is why this doesn’t happen more often.

One of the coolest moments for me personally (that doesn’t revolve around my children) was interviewing Edward Ka-spel for the magazine I was writing for back in the 90's (it was on the Dots’ Hallway of the Gods tour) when they came through town.

Great music and a really friendly guy (actually, all of the band/crew were nice).

OMG! Well...I guess that’ll teach me to stick almost exclusively to Oppo won’t it?

After our interaction the other night, I wondered where the title I chose “Hell, He’s Brain Dead” actually came from. For as long as I can remember it’s a thought that went through the ol’ melon whenever I gave it a listen. Chatting with a friend yesterday and it all came flooding back. A highly impressionable 14 year old learned the albums artwork title...

LOL. I had a lot of free time for a while. And wrote up 150-ish posts about music I obsess about. That was one of them, more on the outer end of the mainstream, but I’ve always loved this song and album. And I had no idea what the artwork was. But trust me when I say that I 100% understand how you would 1. Learn this title, and 2. Have that sort of thing be the mental stand in/association point that comes to mind.
